Lets meet the Scents - Fall/Winter 2017 - Earthy

August 1 starts our Fall/Winter season catalogs with new scents and some of the good ol favorites.

What a better way to start off the season, than sharing Gold Canyon scents, and since we have so many I'm breaking this down into several different post.

Starting in a few hours is our new scents!  So what can you expect? Let me share what we are offering for Fall/Winter 2017..  I hope you're as excited for these as I am :)

Earthy Scents

How about some Candle Facts!

I've been doing my research!  I believe the more you know about a product the better you can sale that product.

I've been sharing a ton of information on Gold Canyon, not just because I sale them, but because I'm excited about them.  I love the company and the products they make.  We sale more than just candles, but lets talk candle talk tonight.

Did you know 7 out 10 homes use candles?  That's a lot of candles being burned, and yes 90% of those purchased, are purchased by women.  We love a relaxing candle guys what can I say.

Time to talk about! Dip it and Snip it! Yea I said it

I'm talking about Candle Care here Y'all!

Have you ever taken the time to read the care label on your candle?

Yea, me either.  We buy em and we burn em, but did you know to get the ultimate
clean burn we should do some basic candle care.

The only candles that you blow out, should be a birthday candle!  Instead of blowing out your candle, the proper way to care for a candle is to dip the wick into the wax, then pull it back out.  This not only eliminates that yucky smoke, but also coats the candle with a layer of wax, making it easier to light, the next time you burn it.

The candle wick should always be trimmed to 1/4 inch, this ensures even burning and prevents build up of the wick.

Lastly, Rest it.  Ok I know we want to burn those good smelling scents all day why we clean.  Here is the thing to keep the wick from getting to big, after about four hours of burn time, dip it out, and if you want to keep it burning, go ahead and trim it and relight.

That's it 3 easy steps to take the best care of your candle...  Just remember

These are the Best Warmers Ever!

I think I may have found something I love almost more than candles!
Lets not tell my husband, cause you know I'm still going to be buying and using
candles everyday.  I certainly wouldn't want to get his hopes up on saving some cash,
by the decline of his wife's candle collection. LOL

But, no I'm really loving these warmers from Gold Canyon.  I plug it in, set the timer (you know me 12 hours) and place a pod, yep they use pods, which makes it even more awesome.

So here is the thing, I've used warmers in the past, and it was a nifty idea, until I wanted to change the scent..  First attempt I tried to use a case knife to chisel away the dried up wax, what a pain.  So the next time, I was going to outsmart this damn contraption.  I let it heat up and melt the wax, yea you can guess the mess I got trying to carry a hot warmer full of hot wax to empty...  So thus ended my past try of using warmers...  That was until I was introduced to Gold Canyon warmers...

It actually took me a few orders of candles to brave it.  But I did, and coming home from the beach, still in the beachy feel, I ordered the Summer Pail Warmer seen below.  I picked up a couple of their pods, the Harbor Breeze Scent Pod is the one in the picture, to put in the warmer...... It was instant love.

So what is it I love about my warmer?  First I love the timer feature, I can set it for four, eight, or twelve hours, or even just continuous on.  Second, no light bulb to have to worry about changing, the mechanism is enclosed and safety certified..

But the biggie!  What has made me fall in love, A. the scent fills my house but yet not overwhelming, just like the candles.  B. The pod comes in a plastic, bpa free with lid container.  Take off the lid and place the container, yes the container on the warmer.. Whats that mean!  NO MORE MESS :).  Switching couldn't be simpler, take one pod off the warmer, place its lid back on and put on another pod....  Don't forget our Cool Wax safety feature, of course that's with all our products but always good to mention.  Why hasn't anyone else came up with this?  Of course, even if they did, they would have the Worlds Finest Fragrances, that can only be Gold Canyon.  

Not only did I fall in love, but I sold my #1 customer one...  She too, is head over heels.  Pictured below, is hers.  Gorgeous isn't it!  Another Summer Warmer that is now sold out :(  But now worries we have plenty to choose from, The only question, What's your style?.  

Below is also pictured our Autumn Walk Pod.  Which I will say, that was my first time experiencing, smelling the Autumn Walk, and I immediately bought it in our Home Fragrance Oil , which we also sell an Oil Adapter for our pod warmers to use the Home Fragrance Oils in too.  A company that's always thinking,  You gotta Love It!
